【摘要】:ThisBritishStandardprovidesguidanceonthedesignofparallelsidedhelicalcompressionspringsmanufacturedfromrectangularandsquaresectionwireandbar.Thisstandardappliesonlytospringsmadefromrectangularsectionmaterialwheretheratioofradialdimension,6,totheaxialdimension,h,termedtheshapefactor,m,isnotgreaterthan2.5andnotlessthan0.4.NOTE1Thisappliesbecause,outsidetheshapefactorrange2.5to0.4,itisdifficulttocoilaspringaccurately.NOTE2Therearenumerousmethodsofcalculatingtheparametersnecessaryforthedesignofspringsandinitiallythedesignerisfreetouseanyoneofthese.Threetypesofendcoilsareprovidedfor,i.e.openend,closedendandclosedandgroundend,thelastofthesebeingapplicableonlytospringswheretheaxialdimensionofmaterialis0.5mmorgreater.ThisBritishStandarddifferentiatesbetweenspringsthathaveorhavenotbeenstressrelievedafterforming,designatedgroupAsprings,andsprings,thematerialofwhichhasundergoneastructuralchangebyheattreatmentafterforming,designatedgroupBsprings.ThisBritishStandardgivestwomethodsofspecifyingspringsforgeneralpurposesandonemethodoftestingsprings.
